Topic: Build a good self image.
Genesis 1:26 Then God said let us make man in our image...
God made man like Himself. It means we must have the image of God. In this context, the word ''image'' means spirit nature and moral character. The intention of God creating man is for man to have a spirit nature and moral character. By design, Adam was endowed with God-like characteristics so that in his spiritual and moral nature he would be like his creator. God prepared Adam to have an image like Himself before He made the woman, Eve. Until you see yourself as the image of God you will not value yourself. You will live your life any how even when u marry.
In marriage, it takes a partner who has developed a new picture of him or her self to enjoy the good things in marriage . If both partners believe that they're created in the image of God, they will respect and appreciate themselves. Anytime you decide to marry ask yourself if you have the right image. If you don't, then you must wait. Make a practice of forming the right image in your mind based on God's word. If you don't understand this concept then you are not ready for marriage. Most women in marriage see themselves as nothing, they don't have any self confidence, the reason is because they didn't develop thier self image before they got married. They are married but don't think like wives.
Most marriages don't work out because the couples don't know that they are created in God's image. They don't know thier identities, so they look down on eachother. You see, if you don't see yourself worthy of being treated with respect by your partner he or she will never treat you with respect.
In fact before you think of marriage you must be able to treat yourself with respect. If you don't treat yourself with respect, others will never treat you with respect, but to receive respect from your partner you must first develop a proper self image of who you are, because the way you see yourself is the way you will react to the world, people and situations.
Your self image is very important if you are going to marry and enjoy the marriage. Let me tell you something. God created man in His own image before the institutions of marriage, This attest to the fact that you can't marry without developing your self image. If you have a poor self image your marriage will not survive. It Is very sad to see young people who don't believe in themselves but they want to jump into marriage.
Many people are insecured about who they are, so they constantly try to gain the approval of everybody around them so they can feel better about themselves. If you are going to enjoy your life to the full, you must learn to be confident as an individual God made you to be, and go out to be the best of you. Some people say, well, as soon as I marry I am going to be happy, but you see, if you are not happy now when you marry you are not going to be happy. So before you think of marriage as a single person first of all build a good self image. Thanks for reading please bless someone by sharing. God bless you richly

1) RECREATING YOUR WORLD - Oyakhilome lays the foundation to explain why we can change our lives or recreate our worlds. He quotes the scripture Acts1v8 'But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you...' As a christian i.e. when you are 'born again' one of the experiences is to receive the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. Oyakhilome states that when the Holy Spirit comes upon/in you, He gives you power. This power is an ability to cause changes. Equipped with this power we have the ability to recreate our world. 2) YOUR CREATIVE ABILITY - Oyakhilome states that the creative ability in us is our imagination. He gives scriptural evidence to show that our imaginative thoughts can manifest in the natural realm. He emphasises the importance of imagining positive desires and brooding over them until they become clear. Our imaginative power signifies what we can see. In the process of recreating our world we must have a definite vision of what we desire our...
