How It All Goes Down The book opens as Nnu Ego runs away from her home in Lagos, Nigeria, where her first baby has just died. She has decided to commit suicide. The story flashes back to the story of how Nnu Ego was conceived. Her father, Agbadi, though he has many wives, is in love with a proud and haughty young woman named Ona. Nnu Ego is Agbadi's favorite daughter and she grows into a beautiful young woman. Her first marriage is to the son of another wealthy and titled family. Trump gnaws at shorter.

Donald Trump, after several straight days delivering a more scripted message, loosened the rhetorical shackles tightened by his new campaign manager and went off-script several times Wednesday afternoon, offering a more passionate but at times self-contradicting case for his candidacy. The Republican nominee, still struggling to right his campaign after a prolonged dip in the polls, touted the same divisive policy ideas while promising an “end to the era of division.” He hailed himself as a political outsider, citing his decades as an insider who used his money to buy power. And he offered voters a black-and-white choice between the abject dystopia to come in a Clinton presidency or the problem-free paradise he vowed to easily restore. Story Continued Below "If I don't win, it will be worse than ever before,” he told supporters at a Tampa, Florida, rally. “But if I win, we're going to turn it around and it will be a beautiful thing." Trump made the same overt appeals...

Team Cruz on Trump's immigration shift.

As Donald Trump soft-pedals his once-hard-line immigration rhetoric, supporters of his vanquished primary foe Ted Cruz have one message for Republican voters: We told you so. Cruz spent the final months of his unsuccessful presidential primary run arguing that Trump was a not-so-closeted liberal whose conservative language on immigration was not to be trusted. Now, Trump says he is open to “softening” the approach to some undocumented immigrants already in this country, a departure from his previous calls for a deportation force. Story Continued Below And as Ted Cruz eyes his 2018 reelection bid, with some of his supporters holding out hopes for a 2020 presidential run, Cruz world feels vindicated. "Everything Trump promises comes with an expiration date,” said Cruz’s former Senate communications director, Amanda Carpenter. “We knew it during the primary, and now it is apparent he has duped his most loyal supporters on the issue they care about most, immigration. Don't say we...

Eric Trump: my father would be foolish to released His tax returns

Eric Trump said Wednesday it would be “foolish” for his father to release his tax returns as calls intensify for the Republican nominee to do so. Donald Trump has not released his tax returns, saying he is being audited and will do so once it's wrapped up. His decision not to disclose his returns breaks from the long tradition of presidential candidates making their forms publicly available. Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine have released their tax returns; Mike Pence has said he will. Story Continued Below “There is no tax attorney in the world who will tell you to release your tax returns while you're under a standard, routine audit,” Eric Trump said on CNBC. “It would never happen. Anybody who thinks that is in La-La Land. … It would be foolish to do." Eric Trump added that he is the biggest proponent of his father not releasing his tax returns. "His tax return, did you see the Twitter picture, it's 5 feet tall," he said. "You would have a bunch of peopl...

Trump campaign blast Clinton new video.

An evangelical pastor who spoke at the Republican National Convention and has close ties to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign said Thursday that Hillary Clinton “went to a disgusting new low” by releasing a video tying Trump to Ku Klux Klan members and other white supremacists. The video, released Wednesday morning by Clinton, quotes a KKK imperial wizard saying “the reason a lot of Klan members like Donald Trump is because a lot of what he believes, we believe in.” It also attacks Trump’s newly hired campaign CEO, Steve Bannon, formerly of Breitbart News, as a representative of the so-called “alt-right” movement, which the video labels as “the sort of dressed-up-in-suits version of the neo-Nazi and white supremacist movement "Hillary Clinton and her campaign went to a disgusting new low today as they released a video tying the Trump Campaign with horrific racial images,” pastor Mark Burns said in a statement emailed out Thursday by the Trump campaign. “This type of rhetoric an...

Ali Baba and his Dogs.

Popular Nigerian comedian, Ali Baba, has shared a photo of his dogs which he named after world leaders; past and present and revealed the delight of former President Obasanjo on learning that one of the dog was named after him. Ali Baba wrote: “My dogs and I back in the day. Must have had like 12 at a particular point in time. Interesting time. That time I mean. I had traveled and returned at night, but was too tired to relate with them. OBJ, the big Alsatian was the head of the pack. “Then Obama was the big black and white Great Dane, the Alsatian on the bummer was Thatcher. Thatcher must have given me like 18 puppies. In her good days (N120k per puppy) the ridge back by Thatcher was called Madiba. It arrived from South Africa on the birthday of Mandela “The Second Harlequin Great Dane was named after Queen Amina… But the fiercest of my odds were Chaka, IBB AND Abacha. They took no prisoners. Coach Samson Siasia, who led the Nigerian Dream Team to a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio olympics, has admitted that he does not know how he offended the Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung. Siasia clashed with Dalung, after he complained about the poor working conditions for the Dream Team VI, as they prepared for the Games. Dalung denied knowing that the U-23 team were in Atlanta, USA and mocked the coaches for engaging in human trafficking. “The whole thing surprised me”, Siasia said in Johannesburg, while on a stopover to connect the final leg of the flight from São Paulo to Johannesburg and to Lagos. “As we speak, I don’t know what I have done to offend the Minister. The whole thing is surprising,” Siasia continued. Best prices of phones, accessories & gadgets on PricePadi.com “It’s funny. My lesbian story. Yvonne nelson

My interview with top Ghanaian actress – Yvonne Nelson-was a revelation in so many ways. Of the leading Nollywood stars, Yvonne is among those I had not had a close relationship with. I had watched her from afar, seen countless number of her movies and had always thought she was a great and talented actress – someone who combined poise, beauty and style. I had also heard of some unsavory things ascribed to her – the rumors of sexual orientation which some say verged between pure lesbianism and bi-sexualism – all manner of shenanigans that had been whispered and published about her. Some years ago, she came out with a movie, “Heart of Men”, in which she seemed to have appeared in frontal nudity– a development that set off a firestorm of protest among Nollywood lovers –with many condemning the exploitation of graphic sexual images to promote and sell movies – which was a deviation of what Nollywood had always been seen to represent: a family friendly entertainment medium. Yvonne Nelson A...

Whenever the name, Maheeda is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is controversy, sex, nudity and promiscuity. I’ve been bad, I’ve been naughty… You’ve seen Naija Bad Girl video and Lasgidi Chick. Now, I’m trying to see if I can drop one single before the end of the year. But I’m not sure that will be possible because I’m shooting the video in November. So, It could be next year. What is the inspiration behind your “Naija Bad Girl” song? I had this vision of what’s happening right now. Like I’m very bad, like I’m the baddest girl in Nigeria which is not true. So, my vision is actually to see my posters in people’s bedrooms and stuff like that. I...

why men like Big butts

Men’s love of women with big backsides is quite a hot topic. Now, a new study has presented yet another explanation for why many men prefer women with large, curvy butts. The study found that evolution has preferred women with a spine curvature of 45 degrees because it allowed them to remain mobile throughout pregnancy without risk of injuring themselves. Big Butts Researchers believe this finding may partially explain why the modern man remains so infatuated with the size of the backside of potential female partners. The curve at the bottom of a woman’s spine allows her to significantly shift weight, and without this ability, pregnant women would face a serious disadvantage. According to the study, without a spine curvature of this degree the pressure on a woman’s hips during pregnancy would increase by 800 percent. This would cause her to not only become largely immobile, but also put her at risk for sustaining serious injury. Lead researcher Dr. David Lewis, says it’s believed that ...

Clinton is an apologist to Nigeria Boko haram

Republican delegates savaged Hillary Clinton Tuesday by breaking into angry chants of “lock her up” and “guilty” as New Jersey Governor Chris Christie laid out a criminal-style case against her. While the FBI stopped short of recommending charges against the presumptive Democratic nominee over her email scandal, Christie, himself a former federal prosecutor went into attack-dog mode on the second day of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. “Let’s do something fun tonight,” he said. “We are going to present the facts to you. You, tonight, sitting as a jury of her peers in this hall and in your living rooms around our nation,” he said. He then outlined what he called “the facts” against Clinton, savaging her record as US secretary of state, holding her responsible for the chaos and violence engulfing Libya, and asking whether she is “guilty or not guilty” of being an apologist for Boko Haram in Nigeria. “As an awful judge of the character of a dictator and butcher in the Midd...

Sani Usman, said in a statement Tuesday that the leader of the group, ‘Abubakar Shekau’ was seriously wounded on the shoulders during the raid. positives thinking series

👑👑Beloved family, hope you had a lovely day. 👉 Your Daily Thought... *(POSITIVE THINKING SERIES)* _Proverbs 23:7 “As he thinks within himself, so he is” (NASB)._ ☝ So what exactly are thoughts? Well, they’re the ways in which we’re conscious of things. They’re made up of our memories, our perceptions, our beliefs. They’re glimpses of ideas. They make up one of the most basic facets of life. The rate at which we can express thoughts is far slower. *Some research suggests we speak at about 200 words per minute. But we can listen to and process 1,300 words per minute!* ☝ about this: You can’t evoke thoughts by feeling a certain way. But you can evoke and, to some degree, control feelings by directing your thoughts. 👉 So having control over our own thoughts gives us power to direct our feelings. But our feelings aren’t directed solely by will. We can’t just choose our feelings. Still, we can guide them with our thoughts. ✌ Basically, that means that with our thoughts, we can u...

Interesting facts about Africa.

One interesting fact about Africa that is truly amazing is that long before humans were around (the early Mesozoic Era), Africa was joined to the other continents in a massive continent called Pangaea. Over millions of years this huge continent broke apart shaping the world landscape as we know it today in what has been referred to the continental drift. This was at first a speculation and was first put proposed by Abraham Ortelius in 1596. Later on, the concept was independently (and more fully) developed in 1912 by Alfred Wegener and the theory of continental drift was superseded by the theory of plate tectonics, which builds upon the previous continental drift and better explains the former concept.Africa is the most populous and the only black continent. Despite the delayed development in the continent, Africa is an interesting continent to visit and in it abounds lots of talents. There are lots of known and interesting information but there are much more unknown facts about Africa...

Step to last longer in bed.

Most men are insecure about two things: sex and penis size. Men from all walks of life pride themselves on the size of their penis and their duration in bed, believing an above- average size and performance can feed the sexual appetite of their partner. Although men can’t do much about the size of their genitalia (except plastic surgery), they can control premature ejaculation to make sex last longer. The ability to finish early and quickly can be advantageous in many areas in life, but not when it comes to sex. Premature ejaculation is a common and often distressing problem for couples who simply want to find ways to make sex last longer. Harry Fisch, author of the book, The New Naked: The Ultimate Sex Education for Grown-Ups , found although an astonishing 45 percent of men finish sex too quickly, specifically within two minutes, the average duration is 7.3 minutes — only four minutes less than women’s ideal time. These statistics may be discouraging for men and women alike, but like...

marriage tip for couples

Relationship/Marriage tips. By Evangelist Fearnot. Topic: Build a good self image. Genesis 1:26 Then God said let us make man in our image... God made man like Himself. It means we must have the image of God. In this context, the word ''image'' means spirit nature and moral character. The intention of God creating man is for man to have a spirit nature and moral character. By design, Adam was endowed with God-like characteristics so that in his spiritual and moral nature he would be like his creator. God prepared Adam to have an image like Himself before He made the woman, Eve. Until you see yourself as the image of God you will not value yourself. You will live your life any how even when u marry. In marriage, it takes a partner who has developed a new picture of him or her self to enjoy the good things in marriage . If both partners believe that they're created in the image of God, they will respect and appreciate themselves. Anytime you decide to marry ask yo...

Anger over Donald Trump gun right remark.

Republican Donald Trump has sparked anger by appearing to suggest his supporters could stop his rival Hillary Clinton by exercising their gun rights. He said that Mrs Clinton would put liberal justices on the Supreme Court if she wins the presidency in November, threatening gun ownership rights. Speaking at a rally in North Carolina, Mr Trump hinted that gun rights advocates could stop her taking power. That sparked an online backlash, many accusing him of inciting violence. He replied that he was only urging gun rights supporters to vote in large numbers. The remarks that sparked the firestorm were made at a rally in Wilmington on Tuesday afternoon. The Republican presidential nominee said of his Democratic opponent: "Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. "But the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don't know." Clash over US Supreme Court future Five ways...
